There is no membership fee for attending club nights and playing in friendly matches with other clubs. For players wishing to play in the league, there is a £30 fee (for the 2021/22 season). This allows us to hire a venue suitable for playing competitive chess and to pay SCCA league fees. League players are also expected to join the ECF at, at least, Bronze level.
